ONE YEAR!  Today is the one year anniversary of Cristina Isabel Design!

I launched exactly one year ago with this photo, taken by my husband (on his phone and very well done I might add). We had a 3 month old son and knew we were taking a big risk by making this change.  

It was a scary and thrilling time, and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. I’m buzzing from all the projects I’ve helped bring to life and looking forward to the growth and learning that’s yet to come.

Proudest accomplishments of the year:

• Becoming kickass at Photoshop
• Designing my own website 2x and rebranding
• Doing an in-person workshop (pre-covid) and several webinars and live sessions post covid
• Finishing several whole home e-design projects
• Doing my first installation (soooo satisfying!)
• Starting to take on full service projects
• Working on projects 5 minutes from me and all the way in Hawaii!  

Most impressive of all are the numbers. This year I completed:

• 19 Living Room Designs
• 9 Bedroom Designs
• 12 Office Designs
• 4 Breakfast Area/Dining Room Designs
• 2 Entryway Designs
• 10 Gallery Wall Designs
• And 1 very cool music studio/basement design

Wow! Talk about ramping up quickly.

What’s in store for Cristina Isabel Design LLC?  Continuing to connect and collaborate with the best clients on cool projects – a mix of e-design and full service. I will also be hiring a design assistant soon, so that I can better serve my clients! 

This industry is challenging, and being an entrepreneur is scary, intense, exciting, thrilling, all the feelings — but looking back at my life and my inspirations, I know I am right where I need to be and that is the best feeling.
